The easiest way to dress an outfit up or down is to add accessories. Today's look is a casual look but by adding a couple of things it made the look a little more put together and dressed up. If I would have left the outfit just the graphic tank and shorts, it would of been super casual, but since I paired it with a lace cardigan and a felt hat, I feel like it has a completely different feel to it. The look is still casual, just more put together!
I always add just a little something if I feel like a certain outfit needs spicing up, and it always seems to do the trick, whether it be layering a denim jacket, a chunky necklace, or a hat of some sort.

I had a wonderful getaway weekend. I took a mini road trip to Mesquite, Nevada and got the opportunity to hang with my family for a little. I am aware I already have a post wearing these shorts, but this look is showing how to wear them with a different outfit!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! As well as a good Monday!

Sometimes I feel like a broken record when I talk to you guys.. and I apologize, but I guess that's how you really know that I LOVE what I am wearing and want to keep telling you about it!! Overalls and mixing patterns, you've heard about it, you've seen it, and I love it. Both these things haven't got old to me, so I will continue to blog about them! (I hope that's ok with you guys!;) ) I got these funky, fun, tropical overalls from Dianes Beachwear. They are actually the brand billabong, so I'm sure you could get them from other stores. I paired them with a black and white striped baggy tee. I also paired a stone washed jean shirt, and tied it around my waste. I love mixing patterns because honestly if you do it the right way, it can really be appealing to the eye.
It has been so warm here... like 90's warm and I have been soakin' it all in!!
I hope everyone has a great week!

Sunglasses/ Glasses are just as much as an accessory as jewelry, I think. When it comes to wearing them just in the car, I don't think it matters what ones you put on, but when you wear them out, with your outfit, I think it makes a statement. Now, I do have quite a selection of sunnies, but I will say, NONE of them have cost me over $70.00, actually most of them have been $20.00 and under. I would rather have a lot of cheap sun glasses, to mix and match with different outfits, than to have one pair of $300.00 glasses. Even though they are beautiful, I still cant seem to spend the money on those. In fact, the buy 2 for $20.00 kiosk's are my favorite! I thought it would be a fun post to show how I display my sunglasses, and a couple of my favorites, especially since its getting warmer and the sun is out a lot more.
Most of my sunglasses are in my room, so when I want to pair them with an outfit, I can actually look at them. I do keep one simple pair in my car, because I don't always wear sunglasses with an outfit.
Besides Kiosks some of my favorite places to get sun glasses from have been Urban Blues ,Knock Around and Filtrate .

Its officially the weekend!! yay!! Everyone have a good one.
Sweaters are always so comfortable and cozy, but you only really get to wear them during fall and winter... and where I live, its still not that often. For todays post I decided to incorporate a sweater into a spring/summer look. This is a light weight sweater, so its not like you'll be sweating, but you still get that cozy feel from it.
I paired both looks with the same sweater and gladiator sandals.

First look I paired with loose, patterned shorts. You could always do jean shorts, but I like the look a little better with a fun pair of shorts.
Shorts: Irenes Story
Necklace: Old
Second look I paired the sweater with a simple, flow-y dress. It just adds something to the dress, and its easy to take on and off.

I hope wherever you live, you can always wear a cute sweater!!
