One of the many things I love about living in California is all the places there is to visit.
Recently a friend and I went to Old town Orange. Can I just say that this town was darling! Even the Starbucks was cute. The day we went was extremely hot, so I had to think wisely with what I decided to wear. The hat I wore is one of my favorite hats I own. For two reasons, the color being one. I think the burnt orange is a perfect color going into fall. The second thing I love about it is the detailing on it. Not only did the hat help from the burning sun, I thought it went well with the city.

Tis the season for weddings! I love going to weddings and I secretly love that none of them have been mine... for now at least. One of the best part of weddings is getting ready! (besides eating cake obviously.)
I loved my dress that I wore to my uncles wedding. It was comfortable enough that I wasn't itching to get out of, but it also looked nice for photos.
Lets also just talk about my shoes for a moment. These little babies are my pride and joy at the moment. From the second I saw them, I knew that they needed to be mine!
The best part of my outfit was it made me feel like a Disney princess.....
The funny part about that is, I wasn't trying to be one! The entire night my family either told me I looked like Queen Elsa because of my hair or Pocahontas because of my outfit.
Either way, it was a good night!

Well friends, its already been an entire year since my journey to California. My lease is up, and i'm getting ready to move to a new apartment. Time flies when you're having fun I guess! "Fun" isn't really the phrase I would use though... more like time of my life or best decision I have ever made. I have learned so much about myself out here and I can honestly say, I found myself. I have never been so happy or free before. There is so many opportunities out here and ALWAYS something to do. I think everyone should venture out and try something new, you never know what you might discover.
Life has become so positive and I can see my future so much more clear. I will admit, being away from my family and some of my close friends has been my main struggle, but I know they are back in Utah cheering me on. Plus, they get a vacation to California when they visit me, so that doesn't suck! If anyone wants to move away, even for a little bit, I say DO IT. You learn and grow so much. You meet new people, and get to be in new environments. There are so many things that I thought everyone did or knew about and come to find out, most of them were just from the state I lived in. Its like breaking out of a bubble, and I think everyone should break out of that bubble.
I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday weekend! One of the greatest things about California is that there is always something to do. Even if you just go dinner, there is so many places to choose from. One of the nights this past weekend, a girlfriend and I went to dinner in one of my favorite cities, Laguna Beach. This city is so small but its filled with shops, restaurants, and the ocean of course.

Today my post is about re-using your clothes to make a different outfit. So most everything that I am wearing in this post you have seen before. I wanted to do a post like this because I feel like a lot of us will wear something once and never again because you don't want to be an "outfit repeater" but that's why clothes are so fun, you can wear them with multiple things to make a whole new look. I linked the other posts where the outfit link should be so you can see how they may be similar, but are still different!! (the other posts will have the link to where you can get the items.)
Happy Almost Weekend!!!

First off, I would like to apologize for disappearing for a little! Life gets hectic and sometimes you're busier than you expect, but I am back!!
I hope everyone is doing great!
I love this color. Cobalt has been in for a couple years now, and I am still loving it!
This is such a easy look , and cute for summer! I think I am going to live in these things this summer.

I thought a "Whats in my bag" would be a fun and different post from what I usually do. I love reading these posts because its so interesting to me what other people carry in their purses!!
I am so ready for constant warm weather, and so is my purse. I am into the bright vibrant handbags for summer especially because I don't switch out my bag everyday so its fun to always have that statement.
I obviously always carry my phone, wallet, and keys. Those are just givens. I am also a huge snack-y. I get hungry at random times, or I will just need a energy boost, so I always keep some snacks in my purse, as well as a water.. I ALWAYS have a water. I also always have my planner and a notepad to jot anything down. I am pretty busy so I feel lost without my planner and being able to keep track of things. I don't always carry make up in my purse, but sometimes you need it to touch up for occasions so I will have a make up bag in there sometimes too.
